Feature Overview

Publisher contracts on a campaign can be seen in Campaign > Publishers.

The historic details of each publisher’s contract can be seen in Actions > Contract History.

Contract Signing

Publishers will not be able to import leads to a campaign unless the contract status is signed. There are different ways to sign publisher contracts:

  1. If ‘Enable Publisher Contract Auto Signing’ is enabled in Campaign > Admin > Setup > Advanced, then publisher contracts will be automatically signed when a publisher is assigned to the campaign.

If ‘Enable Publisher Contract Auto Signing’ is disabled, when a publisher is assigned, the publisher contract will be unsigned as shown below.

The contract can then be signed either manually or by a setting at the enterprise level.

  1. Manual signing- Once a publisher is assigned and unsigned, the contract is available for viewing and signing in the Actions column. The publisher can also access the contract via an email sent to them from Convertr. The user can then sign the contract by providing their Name and Role.

  1. There is also a configuration 'Autosign publisher contracts after 48 hours', at the Enterprise level to automatically sign contracts after 48 hours. This is available in Enterprise > Configuration, under ‘Campaign Settings’.

If the value saved against 'Autosign publisher contracts after 48 hours' is '1', then publisher contracts will be automatically signed after 48 hours of assignment if they are not manually signed or if the campaign level auto-signing option is disabled.

This will not trigger auto-signing of contracts if the value saved for 'Autosign publisher contracts after 48 hours' is 0.

However, the configuration ‘Enable Publisher Contract Auto Signing’ in the campaign level overrides the enterprise setting. So if 'Autosign publisher contracts after 48 hours' is 0 at the enterprise level but if the toggle for 'Enable Publisher Contract Auto Signing’ is enabled at the campaign level, then the contract will be automatically signed for that campaign.

The Contract History table consists of the following fields:

  • Contract Id which is constituted of 2 parts separated by a hyphen. The first part is a unique id for the contract and the second part following the hyphen is the campaign id. A combination of these is used to identify each version of the contract

  • Contract Date shows the timestamp at which the publisher was assigned to the campaign

  • Created By shows the user who assigned the publisher to the campaign

  • Signature/Link shows:

    • Signed timestamp, Name and Title of signatory if the contract is signed. If the contract is automatically signed with the ‘‘Enable Publisher Contract Auto Signing’ option or 'Autosign publisher contracts after 48 hours', then the title will show 'Auto Signed’

    • ‘Unsigned’ if the contract is unsigned

Once the contract is signed, campaign assets and tracking links will be emailed to the publishers and the contract status will be updated to ‘Active’.

If any of the contract terms are updated, the updated contract will need to be signed by the publisher following the process described earlier.

Once the contract is signed, the contract status is updated to Signed and details of the signatory is available in the contract, as can be seen in the below screenshot.

Each time a contract is updated, a new version is created and all versions of the contract can be seen in Contract History.

The signed contract can be downloaded by clicking on the ‘Download Signed Contract’ button.
