A user can set which status for the duplication to run on:

  • Billable
  • Valid
  • All

If a user sets the status to Billable a lead will flag in this scenario:

  • If the first lead with the same email has a billable status the second lead with the same email address will be flagged as a duplicate.
  • If the first lead with the same email has a valid and not billable status the second lead with the same email address will not be flagged as a duplicate.
  • If the first lead with the same email has an invalid status the second lead with the same email address will not be flagged as a duplicate.

If a user sets the status to Valid a lead will flag in this scenario:

  • If the first lead with the same email has a valid status the second lead with the same email address will be flagged as a duplicate.
  • If the first lead with the same email has a billable status the second lead with the same email address will be flagged as a duplicate.
  • If the first lead with the same email has an invalid status the second lead with the same email address will not be flagged as a duplicate.

If a user sets the status to All a lead will flag in this scenario:

  • If the first lead with the same email has any status the second lead with the same email address will be flagged as a duplicate.

Filter out duplication for their CRM and Email Automation platforms

Key Talking Points

  • Filter out duplication for their CRM and Email Automation platforms.

An example of how it would be implemented?

For instance, if a lead with an email eg adam.carter@convertermedia.net comes eg adam@convertr.io comes into a campaign the second instance of a lead with this email will be flagged as a duplicate only if this lead had come from the same publisher.

Once flagged the platform then passes this information back on to the publisher.
