Internal IP Exclusion

In 2021 the company enforced use of a VPN whereby each connected device would fall within a certain IP range. This IP range was then used to create a ‘view’ in GA to exclude internal users from analytic collection.

However as of 2022, Convertr transitioned to a managed IT service which has no need for a VPN, therefore all company devices have unique IP addresses and cannot be easily excluded. This means that any data should include the usage of any internal users.

Aggregation of URLs

Prior to transitioning to GA4, we utilised GA3 which supported a ‘Search and Replace’ feature whereby a custom regex filter could be added:
