At least 1 condition must be set with a maximum of 15 allowed for each report. For more information on report builder conditions, click here.

‘Grouping’ Step > Tab Helper

Grouping allows operators set on the 'Fields' step to aggregate sets of rows into giving one result per set. For example, I can choose 'publisherName' and 'id' in the 'Fields' step with an operator of COUNT set on the 'id' column. I can then add a group of 'publisherName' on the 'Grouping' step. Each row within the report will then output a publisher and how many leads they have sent to the platform. For more information on report builder grouping, click here.

LIVE

Name suppression is used to detect peoples names that are submitted that appear to be fake and/or offensive.

Full Name Checking
Where there is a pair of names that together look fake such as ‘Mickey Mouse’ we first concatenate the names to make a 'full name', this is then compared against the same concatenation of first and last name in the database. If a match is made against the pair then there is a problem. But ‘Mickey’ in itself is not a bad name so this is why we match the two first.

Single Name Checking
Following the 'Full Name' checking we will proceed to compare the first and last names against the first name (fname) in the database where no last name is in the database. In the database we only store a single name (fname) if we KNOW the name on its own must be a fake, such as ‘MOUSE’.

Dictionary Contents
The Name Suppression Dictionary has a list of first and last names including:

  • 500+ Disney Names/Animals

  • 400+ Swear Words + Variations

  • 400+ Fake Names (Robin Banks)

  • 100+ Famous Names

  • 100+ Animal Names

  • A few ‘test’ terms
