What does it do?

Validation lists gives the users the ability to add customs pick lists to the platform and in turn use these lists as validation against their lead data.

Who would use it?

Publisher, Agency & Clients users

Why would clients find this useful?

  1. Makes sure data is formatted exactly to the needs of the client or user
  2. Helps with standardisation of data collected, which in turn helps with reporting and interrogating of said data.
  3. When leads are being runs against Key accounts or suppression lists

An example of how it would be implemented?

A typical example would be checking if the lead was on a key accounts list. If the lead that was submitted was like the below.

First NameAdam
Last NameCarter

Email

adam.carter@convertrmedia.net
Company NameConvertr Media

The validation list would be configured to look at the company name field to check if the value 'Convertr Media' is on the list, then from here the platform can make a decision to either pass or fail the lead.

Uploaded list look at id 515

In our example this is an acceptance list as the calidation rule is set to pass
